Fiesta Negra

Juan, a 58-year-old shipwright, is trapped in a self-destructive routine as he watches the craft to which he has devoted his life disappear. When a diagnosis of terminal cancer forces him to confront the imminence of death, he decides to build one last boat. The project becomes the driving force behind a personal transformation that leads him to reconcile with his past, restore lost connections and find a new sense of purpose during the final months of his life. Set in Lanzarote, Fiesta Negra is an intimate drama about redemption, legacy and dignity in the face of death.
